Proven to be one of the premier offensive players in NCAA Div. III – D3baseball.com preseason All-American … Will be the team’s clean-up hitter again, but is slated to move defensively to third base … Could still shift back over to first base, depending on game situation … Wields a powerful bat, but also can hit for average exceptionally well.

2015: Earned first-team All-American honors from the ABCA and second-team from D3baseball.com … ABCA Mideast Region Player of the Year … Also a consensus first-team all-region and first-team all-conference pick … Led the nation in home runs (17), RBI (69), and total bases (143), … Also topped the NCAC in all of those categories, plus slugging percentage (.813) … Sixth nationally in slugging, third in runs scored (59), 11th in hits (74), 15th in on-base percentage (.532), and 44th in batting average (.420) … Second in the NCAC in all of the previous categories, and tied for fourth in doubles (16) and tied for third in walks (26) … Hit over .500 the last month of the season (.506; 45-for-89) to finish as Wooster’s leading hitter … Successfully reached base at least once in all 45 games … All-NCAC Tournament Team honoree after batting .667 (14-for-21) with six doubles and eight RBI … Went perfect 5-for-5 with two doubles during one game vs. Oberlin (May 8) at NCAC tourney … Drove in career-high six runs twice, once during 3-for-6, two-homer performance against Wabash (May 3) and the other coming against regional rival Marietta (April 1) when he went 2-for-4 with two home runs … Belted out three homers during Scots’ home debut against Muskingum (March 25) … Tied a school record when issued four walks vs. Wabash (May 2).

2014: Saw the most action outside of the regular starting nine with 27 games played, including eight starts as a freshman … Batted .333 with 12 of his hits going for extra bases – four doubles and one homer … Drove in 12 runs … Entered two NCAC Tournament games (May 9-10), going 1-for-2 with an RBI … Had three two-hit outings during the Hiram series (April 12-13), combining for a 6-for-15 line (.400) with seven runs scored, three doubles, and five RBI … First collegiate home run came against Baldwin Wallace (April 10) … Notched a three-RBI game vs. Wis.-Platteville (March 17).

Prior to Wooster: Twice an all-league award winner at Westlake High School … Key part of the Demons’ state runner-up finish as a junior … Lettered in three sports – baseball (2), basketball (3), and soccer (2).
