2017: Anchored down right field, appearing in 45 games, 42 of which were starts … Hit .298 (50-for-168) on the year and was one of five Scots with at least 50 hits and one of five with at least 40 runs … Key part the Scots’ scoring offense, which was ranked No. 1 in Div. III … Nearly half (24-of-50) of his base hits went for extra bases, including seven round trippers … Knocked in 37 runs on the year and went 11-for-15 in stolen base attempts … Hit a pair of homers versus Pitt.-Greensburg (April 13), including an inside-the-park one … Key in Hiram series finale with a 3-for-5 game that featured four RBI and three runs scored … Blasted a home run and logged a triple in win over Western Connecticut State (March 17), as part of a 2-for-4 game with six RBI.

2016: Delivered an explosive season and was a second-team all-conference pick … Tied for second in the conference, and on the team, with 52 RBI … Tied for the team lead with seven homers, all of which came over the final 22 games of the season … Overall, started all 50 games in left field … Hit .306 (57-for-186) on the year with 27 extra base hits … Ranked fourth on the team with 13 stolen bases … Key in Wooster’s 5-1 win over DePauw (May 14) in the first game of the NCAC Tournament championship round … Belted a first-pitch grand slam in the fifth inning of what turned out to be the difference in a 5-1 game … Finished a double shy of the cycle versus Kenyon (April 27).

2015: Steadily developed, eventually starting 10 of the last 13 games … Appeared in 36 games overall (17 starts) … Just about split time between left field and right field defensively, while batting .321 with seven doubles, a triple, two home runs, and 19 RBI … Also scored 19 runs … Went 5-for-18 with one double, a homer, and five RBI during NCAC Tournament (May 7-8) … Had two three-hit games, both coming in May … First career home run was a solo shot at Baldwin Wallace (April 29).

Prior to Wooster: Two-time all-conference award winner in baseball at Riverside High School … Hit .390 and led the team in hits, RBI, and steals in 2014 … Also was first-team all-conference in football as a senior with the Beavers … Lettered three times in each sport.

Personal: Born Dec. 29, 1995 … Son of Wooster alum Brian, who played baseball for current coach Tim Pettorini from 1988-91, and Amy Tornow … Majoring in business economics with a minor in mathematics.
