For the second time this season, sophomore Dan Harwood of The College of Wooster baseball team was named to D3baseball.com's Team-of-the-Week, as announced by the popular online website on Tuesday morning.

Harwood helped seventh-ranked Wooster finish its Florida trip with an 8-3 record after a 4-1 week that featured wins over No. 23 North Central College (Ill.) (8-6) and Mid-Atlantic Region powerhouse Johns Hopkins University (3-1). For the week, the sophomore hit .550 (11-for-20), and led the Scots in RBI (10), runs (6), doubles (4), and homers (2).

Harwood tore the cover off the ball in the week's opener, and in fact, logged his second multi-home run game of the season during last Tuesday's tilt against North Central. In the two games against the Cardinals, Harwood went 5-for-9 with six RBI and three runs scored.

The smooth-swinging left-hander recorded at least two hits in all five games on the week, and all four of his two-baggers came over the final three games of the spring trip.

Harwood and his Wooster teammates are slated to open up North Coast Athletic Conference action on Saturday, March 31 against DePauw University (2-8). First pitch from Art Murray Field is slated for noon.
