Junior Garrett Crum of The College of Wooster has been a run-producing machine of late, and the Fighting Scots' first baseman was tabbed as the North Coast Athletic Conference's Player-of-the-Week, as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

Crum's contributions last week helped the third-ranked Scots extend their winning streak to 15 games, the program's longest since the 2008 season. Crum slashed .458/.500/.875 during a 5-0 week, and led the Scots with 12 RBI while posting a co-team-high 11 hits.

Crum recorded at least two RBI in each game on the week, and had a quartet of multi-hit games, including a 3-for-5 showing with two RBI, two runs, two doubles, and a home run during a 9-4 win over No. 14 Marietta College on Thursday. In Saturday's twin bill at Wabash College, Crum went a combined 5-for-10 with six RBI, three runs scored, a double, and a home run. On Sunday, Crum went 2-for-4 with two RBI, two runs, and his fourth double of the week during a 19-4 win at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

On the season, Crum's now hitting .343 (34-for-99) and has knocked in a conference-best 41 runs, a total 18th in Div. III.

Crum is the second Scot to earn the NCAC's weekly honor this season. Previously, sophomore Dan Harwood slugged his way to the award on Feb. 26 thanks to a pair of round-trippers during a 17-9 season-opening win against the University of Mount Union.

Wooster (20-3, 8-0 North Coast Athletic Conference) is slated to take on Oberlin College (9-17, 2-6 NCAC) on Tuesday, April 17. First pitch from Art Murray Field is slated for noon.
