Chandler Dippman

  • Title:
    Volunteer Asst. Coach

Chandler Dippman, an All-American selection as a utility player during his standout career at The College of Wooster, is a volunteer assistant at his alma mater.

Dippman, one of the top utility players in program history, helped the Scots to an unprecedented four consecutive North Coast Athletic Conference championships, four appearances in the NCAA Div. III Regional Tournaments, and an appearance in the 2018 NCAA Div. III Championships. He earned all-region honors as a junior and senior and was a five-time All-NCAC selection (three as a utility player, once at third base, and once at pitcher).

The four-year starter at third base continuously saw his role as a pitcher increase with each passing season. As a junior, Dippman earned the game ball for the opening games at the Mideast Regional and Div. III Championships, while as a senior, he went the distance in Wooster’s win over Case Western Reserve University in the winner-take-all game of the Wooster Regional.

A sure-handed fielder, Dippman played a key role in Wooster finishing No. 1 in fielding percentage in 2018, and in the top three nationally in 2016 and 2017.

Dippman graduated with a degree in business economics in 2019.
