2013: Transitioned to the defensive side of the ball where he earned a starting position in the secondary, first at strong safety and then at cornerback for eight games … Intercepted three passes, highlighted by one with 1:52 remaining that clinched a 27-24 win at DePauw (Nov. 2) … Also had four pass breakups and 31 tackles, including a high of five at Hiram (Sept. 28) … 2012: Appeared in two varsity games as a freshman running back, toting the ball four times for eight yards … Prior to Wooster: Running back for traditional powerhouse North Allegheny High School, helping the Tigers to 2011 WPIAL championship with 775 yards and 15 touchdowns … Honorable mention on the All-WPIAL Team as a senior … Varsity letterwinner for teams that went a combined 29-2 from 2010-11, scoring 18 career touchdowns … Also a three-year member of the track & field team … Personal: Born Oct. 14, 1993 … Son of Jeffrey and Kimberly Congedo … Majoring in business economics.
