Ulmer to be Honored by the Northeast Ohio Chapter of the National Football Foundation on Tuesday

Senior Todd Ulmer of The College of Wooster will be honored at the Mike Cleary Northeastern Ohio Chapter of the National Football Foundation banquet on Tuesday, March 7. Ulmer is set to receive a postgraduate scholarship from the chapter.

Ulmer, a chemistry major and pre-health minor at the College, aspires to be an orthopedic surgeon, and is currently in the interview process for medical school. The Greensburg, Pa. native was Wooster's NFF William V. Campbell Trophy nominee and is a two-time honoree on the North Coast Athletic Conference Academic Honor Roll.

On the field, Ulmer was a four-year letterwinner, and made 29 starts will appearing in all 40 games during his career. The defensive tackle logged 55 tackles, including 7.5 for loss. He was an key part of a defensive charge that helped Wooster win three of its final five games in 2016, giving the Scots a two-win improvement from last year.
