Entering his 11th campaign as Wooster’s running backs coach is Kyle Adams. The former All-North Coast Athletic Conference standout helped Sean Hackel to first-team All-NCAC honors during 2013 via a 1,000-yard rushing season (1,097) – a first for the Fighting Scots since 2006. Most recently he guided Troy Baughman to a spot on the all-conference team in 2019.

Adams, who also is a managing director/investments at Stifel, Nicolaus & Company in Wooster, has been named to Forbes' list of America's Top Next Generation Wealth Advisors three times, reaching as high as No. 100 on the list. He's been recognized as one of the top millennials in the country and one of the best in Ohio.

As a student-athlete, Adams played collegiately at Ohio Wesleyan University. As a senior team captain in 2008, he was the Battling Bishops’ leading rusher and took honorable mention on the All-NCAC team.

Originally from the Canton, Ohio, area, Adams graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economics from Ohio Wesleyan. He is on the City of Wooster Planning Commission, is active with Wooster Kiwanis Club, and is on the board for the local Goodwill Industries and Adaptive Sports of Ohio, in addition to his coaching and work duties.

Personally, Adams lives in Wooster with his wife, Sara.
