An All-American as a senior at Wooster in 2014, Brandon James remains with the program as an assistant. He will coach the defensive backs.
James excelled both as a safety and with the special teams’ units throughout his career with the Fighting Scots. He accumulated 303 tackles (ninth-most in school history), 11 interceptions (tied for sixth in school history), 13 pass breakups, three forced fumbles, and nearly 1,000 all-purpose yards (994). In addition to being a two-time all-North Coast Athletic Conference standout, James was twice selected by his peers to serve as a team captain.
Originally from Barberton, Ohio, James graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and molecular biology.
