Senior Kerry O'Connor and sophomore Rose Taylor of The College of Wooster field hockey team were named to the All-Great Lakes Region Team, with both garnering second-team accolades, as announced by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association on Monday.

O'Connor, who earned first-team All-North Coast Athletic Conference honors, was one of the catalysts of Wooster's offense. The senior logged a career-high in goals (11) and points (27), while also passing out five assists. The forward was instrumental in helping Wooster win three of its final four games of the year with three goals and two assists during that stretch.

Taylor, who picked up her second career All-NCAC honor, served as the central anchor of the midfield. The sophomore finished the year with four goals and two assists for 10 points, with all four goals coming in a six-game span between Oct. 1-19.

Wooster ended its season with a 9-10 record, a three-win improvement from last year.
