OBERLIN, Ohio – The College of Wooster field hockey team handled business on Sunday as they wrapped the first half of their North Coast Athletic Conference schedule with a 7-0 win over Oberlin College.

Sophomores Sydney Schuster and Caitlyn O'Connor each scored twice. Senior Erika Womack scored two goals as well and added an assist, while fellow classmate Maeven Barry tallied two assists. Freshman Katie Agatucci scored in the 19th minute, her fourth of the season.

Schuster started scoring off right away in the fourth minute. Her goal in the second half in the 40th minute brought her season total to a team and NCAC high 12 goals.

Not far behind is O'Connor as her two second half goals were her eighth and ninth goals of the year. O'Connor's second goal in the 46th minute was assisted by senior Rose Taylor.

Womack, who scored in the 36th minute and 67th minute, raised her season total to seven, which puts her third on the team.

The win puts Wooster at 9-2 overall and 5-2 in the NCAC. Through the first half of the regular season they sit in second place of the conference standings. Oberlin is 1-10 overall and 0-7 in conference play.

The Scots will stay on the road for the next four games, traveling to Ohio Wesleyan University on Saturday. On Sept. 5, they took a 2-1 win over the Battling Bishops.
