The College of Wooster men's basketball team will tune-up for the 2017-18 season with an exhibition contest at The Ohio State University on Sunday, Nov. 5. Game time and ticket information will be released by Ohio State at a later date.

While Wooster has regularly played NCAA Div. I competition in exhibitions, including a home game against Kent State University in 2009 and road trips to the University of Wyoming in 2012, Bradley University in 2011, and Ohio University in 2010, this will mark its first meeting against a member of the Big Ten Conference since Dec. 16, 1939. The Fighting Scots played at Ohio State that day, a game won by the Buckeyes 64-35. Overall, Wooster is 4-7 in regular season meetings against Ohio State, with the last win coming via a 28-24 triumph on Feb. 6, 1909.

Notable, Ryan Pedon, a 2000 alumnus of Wooster, is an assistant coach at Ohio State.
