The National Association of Basketball Coaches extended membership in its prestigious Honors Court to The College of Wooster's Reece Dupler, Derek Schwarz, and Ari Stern, as announced by the coaches organization Tuesday.

Dupler, who earned All-North Coast Athletic Conference honors for the second time this past winter, ranked third on the team with 14.4 points per game, and led the way with a .532 (156-for-293) field goal percentage. In the classroom, the business economics major sports a 3.47 GPA heading into his senior year.

Schwarz, a reserve post who entered eight games, averaged 0.4 points and 0.9 rebounds per night. Schwarz's hard work extended to the classroom, where the biochemistry and molecular biology major graduated with a 3.26 GPA.

Stern, who capped his career by playing some of his best basketball, averaged 8.6 points per game over his final five collegiate games. Headlining that stretch was a career-high 18-point outing against Ohio Wesleyan University in the semifinals of the North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament. Stern, a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Psi Chi, graduated with a 3.76 GPA, and majored in psychology.

The NABC Honors Court honors student-athletes with at least a 3.2 cumulative GPA, are at least a junior in academic standing, have matriculated at least one year at their current institution, and whose coach is a member of the NABC.

Noteworthy, the three selections mark the most for the Scots since the program had a trio of honorees during the 2010-11 season. Schwarz and Stern are the first two-time Honors Court members for Wooster since Matt Fegan (2010-11 and 2011-12).

The NABC Team Academic Excellence Award recognizes teams who have at least a 3.0 team cumulative GPA for the 2017-18 season.
