Everett's Lights Out Play Results in NCAC Honor

The College of Wooster's Nick Everett owned the paint during men's basketball wins over Oberlin College and Wittenberg University last week, and that landed the senior forward as the North Coast Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday.

Everett averaged 19 points, five rebounds, two assists, and 1.5 blocks over 97-69 and 80-70 wins against Oberlin and Wittenberg, respectively. The forward's torrid shooting continued with a 12-of-14 week from the floor and a 14-of-17 showing at the charity stripe. Everett raised his season field-goal percentage north of 70, thanks to Saturday's 7-of-8 ledger against Wittenberg. He is shooting 83.3 percent (65-of-78) from the floor since Dec. 29.

Wooster (15-8, 11-3 NCAC), tied for first-place with Wabash College (15-8, 11-3 NCAC), starts the final week of the regular season with a 7:30 p.m. game at Hiram College (2-21, 0-14 NCAC) on Wednesday, Feb. 14.
