Veteran golfer whose experience will look to add consistency to Wooster’s lineup.

2015-16: Averaged 80.6 strokes over nine rounds … Competed in five events … Turned in a low round of 75 in the second round of the Rosencrans-Maurer Invitational (April 18) … Very consistent in 36-hole tournaments with a 160, two 161s, and a 162.

2014-15: Made five starts on the year, averaging 83.3 strokes over 10 rounds … Best showing was a 155 at the Gatorade Collegiate (Sept. 6-7).

2013-14: Fired a 162 over the final 36 holes of the NCAC Championship Series (May 3-4).

Prior to Wooster: Two-year letterwinner at Stow-Munroe Falls … Part of a team that won three straight conference titles and made two appearances in state tournament.

Personal: Born May 20, 1995 … Son of Jay and Vicki Groat … Majoring in political science.
