Wooster Plays No. 3 Ranked Salisbury Tough in 15-9 Loss

The College of Wooster scored four unanswered goals during the second quarter, tying Wednesday night's game at No. 3 ranked Salisbury University, before the host Seagulls pulled away to a 15-9 victory in the teams' men's lacrosse match-up.

Trailing 4-0 early in the second, Wooster (2-3) evened things up with two consecutive goals from Matt Pullara, followed by two more in a row by Dan MacVarish. That stretch came over just 4:01 of game clock and included three man-up conversions.

Undefeated Salisbury (7-0) stopped the rally, netting the final two scores of the half to take a slight 6-4 advantage into the break.
