The College of Wooster's Pat Henderson went on a six-goal scoring spree, doubling the offensive output of DePauw University himself, as the Fighting Scots got back on the right track with a dominant 14-3 road win in North Coast Athletic Conference men's lacrosse action on Saturday afternoon at Greencastle, Ind.

Wooster (8-4, 3-2 NCAC) had lost its previous three games, one by one goal and another by two, but quickly erased those memories by netting Saturday's first five goals less than 10 minutes into the action. Matt Parmelee had the first two, followed by Evan Albertson, PJ Dallman, and Henderson's first.

DePauw (5-6, 1-3 NCAC) did respond with three unanswered scores to make it a 5-3 game at the 9:06 mark of the second quarter.

About a minute later, Parmelee tallied his third and then Henderson began a personal four-goal run, with two coming in the last five minutes of the quarter to push the Scots' lead to 8-3 at halftime.

Henderson netted two more within the opening three minutes of the third quarter, the second during a man-up opportunity, and his sixth goal came later that period and made it 12-3.

Wooster connected twice early in the fourth, with Tom Herold assisting on one goal and tallying the other, which completed the game's scoring.

Henderson's six goals, which came on just nine shots, were the most by a Wooster player since Matt Ranck connected on a half dozen in the 2013 season opener.

Parmelee's four goals also marked a career high, while Dallman and Pat McKay matched Herold's day with one goal and one assist apiece.

Also of note, Max Rubin won 11-of-18 face-offs, picking up five groundballs along the way to share game-high honors in that category with Dallman, and Tyler LaCroix played the second half in goal, pitching a shutout for 30 minutes with six saves.

The Scots complete their six-game road trip on Wednesday, visiting No. 16 ranked Denison University (9-2, 4-0 NCAC) at 7:30 p.m.
