The College of Wooster trailed by five goals five minutes into the second half of its non-league encounter with Albion College Tuesday night, then rallied for an 18-15 victory, which included scoring four times during the final four minutes to stun the crowd at Sprankle-Sprandel Stadium in Albion, Mich.

Down 10-5 early in the third quarter, Wooster (9-5) began its comeback bid with a four-goal run, featuring one score and one assist from the stick of Tom Herold.

Albion (7-5) seemed to regain control, as the home team accounted for the next three goals and a 13-9 advantage late in the third quarter.

Josh Herold, Tom's brother, gave the Fighting Scots a momentum lift via an unassisted tally with just :06 left in the third and then he netted another :58 into the fourth, but that was just the beginning of a high-scoring final quarter.

About a minute later, Matt Parmelee pumped in a goal to pull Wooster within 13-12, however, the Britons answered shortly thereafter to go back ahead by two.

Next, Pat Henderson connected on back-to-back scores, receiving a feed from Parmelee on the second and shooting it in while sandwiched among a crowd of Albion defenders to tie the game (14-14) for the first time since it was 1-1.

As the clock ticked under six minutes, the Britons again had a response with Cameron Braun putting them back on top.

A wrap-around goal by Parmelee evened the scoreboard at the 4:00 mark, and after CJ Polak collected the groundball on the ensuing face-off, he hit Nate Weltman cutting towards the net and the latter finished the opportunity to give the Scots their first lead of the game.

With 3:39 remaining, Wooster missed on a couple of shots and then was forced to come up with a defensive stop, eventually forcing a turnover. As the Scots tried to run the clock out, Adrian attempted to get the possession back with some double- and triple-teams, but Wooster passed the ball around and Henderson eventually had a clear path to the goal where he tossed in his sixth goal to make it 17-15 with just 1:01 left.

Max Rubin followed with a face-off win and quick goal for the second time in the game, as the Scots closed out their non-conference slate on a thrilling note.

Henderson's six goals matched a career high that he set just two games ago, and he now has 15 scores over the last three outings.

Parmelee added four goals for the second time in three games, plus the key assist, while Josh Herold also notched a hat trick to go with one assist.

Another key factor in the win was Ben Grombala, who played the second half in goal and made seven saves against six goals allowed.

Wooster will play its final home game of the 2015 season on Saturday, welcoming No. 4 ranked Ohio Wesleyan University (12-0, 6-0 North Coast Athletic Conference) to John P. Papp Stadium.
