Wooster Concludes Fall Drills at Annual "Crosse Out Cancer!" Showcase

The College of Wooster men's lacrosse team capped its fall season by taking part in a significant fundraiser at the sixth-annual "Crosse out Cancer!" college lacrosse showcase held on October 11 at Hawken School in Chesterland, Ohio.

The day-long event brought together 16 NCAA men's lacrosse programs from all divisions throughout the region to benefit the Comprehensive Breast Center Program at the Cleveland Clinic.

Since 2010, Burning River Lacrosse has hosted this event to raise funds for breast cancer research. This year, over $17,500 was raised. The day brings together an awesome display of lacrosse action, while also showing support and raising awareness for a worthy cause. "The teams are paired up on the field to show their talents, have some fun, and reach out and make a difference in the lives of others in the community," according to Burning River Lacrosse.

The College's participation was featured in an Inside Lacrosse article found here.
