The College of Wooster men's soccer team fell into an early hole, then battled back at Wabash College, but the comeback bid fell short as the Fighting Scots' three-game win streak came to an end by a 4-2 count as they wrapped up their 2013 season in Crawfordsville, Ind.

The defense for Wooster (5-10-1, 3-6-0 NCAC) had been a bright spot most of the year, however, Wabash (4-11-2, 2-6-1 NCAC) was clicking on all cylinders early on, exploding for four goals during the opening 21:39 of action. The Scots had not given up more than two goals in a game previously.

Wooster got the better of the Little Giants during the second half, connecting for goals in the 58th and 84th minutes. George Skelly was part of both of them, assisting an Aleksi Pelkonen score first, then booting one in himself via a CJ Polak assist.

Skelly finishes as the leading scorer on the Scots' balanced offense with three goals and two assists.
