The College of Wooster men's soccer team finished its season strong by winning three of its last four games, and in doing so, the Fighting Scots earned themselves two selections on the All-North Coast Athletic Conference Team, as senior midfielder Noah Wagemann and sophomore defender Lucas Hunt were named honorable mention, the league office announced Friday.

Wagemann, who was also made an honorable mention pick as a sophomore, played in just nine games this season as he battled through injury, but his presence was felt when he took the field. All three of the Scots late season conference victories came when Wagemann was in the starting lineup, including a dramatic 3-2 triumph over archrival Wittenberg, where he dished out the game-winning assist in overtime. For his career, Wagemann recorded 25 points coming on eight goals and nine assists, with his breakout sophomore campaign (7 goals, 4 assists) being a memorable one.

Hunt became the centerpiece of a much-inproved defensive unit, as he started 15 games (most on the team), while helping Wooster to a 1.46 goals allowed average – its lowest since the 2008 season. Hunt and company let up two goals or less in 13-of-16 games, with a streak of 10 such games in a row to start the season, and registered four shutouts. Against Wittenberg, Hunt got involved on the offensive end of the field, as he scored his first career goal to put the Scots ahead 2-1 in their eventual 3-2 win.
