WOOSTER, Ohio – The College of Wooster scored late in regulation to force overtime, but Ryan Kramarz lifted Hiram College to a 2-1 North Coast Athletic Conference victory when he delivered the game-winner with just 2:24 remaining in the second extra session Wednesday night at John P. Papp Stadium.

Trailing 1-0, Wooster (3-12-1, 0-8-0 NCAC) took advantage of a foul called on Hiram (8-7-2, 3-3-2 NCAC) right outside the goal box during the 88th minute. Matt Ehrenburg, who forced the Terriers' Luke Wilhelm to make a challenging save on a free kick in the 79th minute, stepped up and hooked a shot around Hiram's wall and into the right side of the netting for his second goal in as many games.

The Scots' goalie, Alex Molinari, made two saves during the overtimes, sandwiched around a header by teammate Lucas Hunt that sailed wide, and the match appeared to be headed to a tie.

During the 108th minute, though, Kramarz got loose down the right side, brought the ball into the box, and delivered a low shot inside the far post for his sixth goal of the season and second of the game. The first came in the 50th minute, coming in similar fashion and with an assist from Richie Webb.

The first half featured a couple of strong runs into the box by Wooster's John McCall, but they were both stopped by Wilhelm.

The Scots will close the 2014 season by hosting Wabash College (12-2-3, 5-2-1 NCAC) on Saturday at 5 p.m.
