Second-Half Goals Sink Wooster in Indiana

 Matt Ehrenburg

The final 45 minutes have been the Achilles' heel for The College of Wooster men's soccer team of late as host Wabash College scored all three of its goals in the second-half during Saturday afternoon's shutout in Crawfordsville, Ind.

Wabash's (11-3-2, 3-2-2 North Coast Athletic Conference) Adam Antalis broke through for the match's first tally in the 65th minute. The senior headed in his fifth goal of the season off of a Little Giant corner kick from Francisco Trejo.

Wabash added a pair of penalty kick strikes near the end of regulation from Spase Dorsuleski in the 83rd minute and Nikola Kajmakoski in the 87th minute.

The Little Giants limited the Scots (2-12-2, 0-6-1 NCAC) offensive chances with Wooster only recording three shots during the contest. Wooster's first big scoring chance came in the 28th minute when Matt Ehrenburg's shot was blocked by Wabash. Alex Montalbano sailed his header wide in the 35th minute while Austin Russell's attempt in the 74th minute was high.

Wooster returns home one final time for a 7:30 p.m. tilt against Allegheny College (4-8-2, 3-2-1 NCAC) on Wednesday.
