The College of Wooster men's soccer team earned itself a duo of selections on the All-North Coast Athletic Conference Team, as junior defender Matthew Kelly and first-year midfielder Austin Russell both earned honorable mention recognition, as announced by the conference office on Friday.

Kelly, a repeat on the honorable mention squad, played in 16 games including 13 starts on the year. He was one of the key defenders who helped Wooster tie then-nationally-ranked DePauw University (Oct. 17). The Twinsburg, Ohio native got in on the action offensively, tallying a goal in a 4-1 win over Saint Vincent College (Sept. 5).

Russell had a remarkable start to his collegiate career with three goals and an assist over his first three matches, including two goals and an assist in the win over St. Vincent. Russell would go on to lead the team with five goals on the year. He is the first freshman to earn all-conference honors since Taylor Tackacs in 2008.
