Kieffer Hessler

Senior forward Kieffer Hessler of The College of Wooster men's soccer team garnered honorable mention recognition on the All-North Coast Athletic Conference team, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.

Hessler served as a go-to offensive facilitator for the Fighting Scots this season, making 17 appearances, including 15 starts, on the year. This certificate marks the first all-conference nod for Hessler, who finished the year with three goals and one assist. With a demonstrated ability to hold the ball in the offensive third, the senior proved himself as a dangerous option throughout the season, highlighted by his game-winning strike in Wooster's 2-0 win over Hiram College (Sept. 24) and game-tying assist in the Fighting Scots' 1-1 double overtime draw against Wittenberg University in the season finale (Oct. 29). Hessler also tallied scores in the team's 2-1 win over Berry College (Sept. 3) and 2-1 defeat to Ohio Wesleyan University (Oct. 11), who qualified for the 2016 NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Championship.
