The College of Wooster played Kenyon College tough at most every position in the lineup, but ultimately, the No. 11 ranked Lords were too much as they took the North Coast Athletic Conference East Division men's tennis match 9-0 on Monday. Due to the weather, it was moved indoors to Towpath Racquet Club in Akron, Ohio.

Wooster (8-9, 0-3 NCAC East) extended Kenyon (14-6, 2-0 NCAC East) to 8-5 in two of the three doubles matches, Harrison Suttle and Jacob Pine at No. 1 as well as Jack Buchan and Davis Elkins at No. 3.

In every singles match, one of the two sets went to at least 6-3 before Kenyon prevailed, highlighted by Pine nearly winning the first set at the fourth spot (6-4, 6-1) and Paul Thomas combining for six games at the sixth position (6-3, 6-3).

Next up for the Fighting Scots will be a trip to archrival Wittenberg University (11-6) on Thursday.
