Bera Grinds Out 5-1 Record En Route to Third Career Player-of-the-Week Nod

Junior Titas Bera, the 15th-ranked player in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's Central Region, posted a 5-1 record on the week, including a perfect 3-0 at No. 1 singles, en route to his third career North Coast Athletic Conference Player-of-the-Week certificate, as announced by the league office Monday afternoon.

Two of Bera's singles victories came in comeback fashion, including a 2-6, 6-4, 1-0 (5) victory over Jacob Zalenski from Kenyon College, the 24th-ranked team in the nation, and a 4-6, 6-2, 1-0 (6) win over Shouta Fukamachi from Ohio Wesleyan University, the 16th-ranked team in the region.

In doubles action, Bera partnered with sophomore Jesse DeWitt at the No. 2 position for an 8-5 win over Kenyon and an 8-1 victory over Allegheny College.
