Junior Titas Bera was named North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Year and seniors Jack Buchan and Davis Elkins capped their historic careers with a second-team all-conference doubles nod, as announced by the league office Thursday morning.

Bera became the first Fighting Scot since Nilesh Saldanha in 2003 to claim the top singles honor and ended the year as the highest regionally-ranked singles player among NCAC East teams, finishing as the 12th-ranked player in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's Central Region.

As the Scot's No. 1 singles player, Bera finished 18-9 overall, including 14-8 in dual matches and a 3-1 record in conference play. Against regionally-ranked competition, the three-time all-conference student-athlete was 3-3 and finished the season strong, posting a 7-3 record to help Wooster claim a 5-1 win over Wittenberg University in the conference tournament's seventh-place match.

As the winningest doubles team in program history, the senior duo of Buchan and Elkins earned all-conference accolades for the second consecutive season. The No. 1 doubles pair went 17-12 on the year and won their record-setting 41st career match together on March 31 against Wittenberg before settling with 44, four more than the prior record holders of John Morlidge and W Association Hall of Famer Bob Savitt set back in 1984. Additionally, Buchan wrapped up his career with 101 combined wins.
