One of the region’s elite competitors … Coming off of a banner season that ended with NCAC Player of the Year honors and the No. 11 ranking in the region in singles.

2016-17: Named NCAC Player of the Year, the first Fighting Scot since 2003 to do so, after ending the year as the highest regionally-ranked singles player among NCAC East teams (11th) … Earned first appearance on all-conference first-team as part of third career all-NCAC selection … Went 18-9 overall as the No. 1 singles player, including 14-8 in dual matches … Totaled a 3-3 record against fellow regionally-ranked opponents … Defeated the 13th- and 17th-ranked players in the ITA Central Region in straight sets in addition to a three-set comeback victory over the 23rd-ranked regional player … Opened the year on a five-match win streak while winning eight of his first 11 …  Defeated nationally-ranked Kenyon’s No. 1 in a three-set comeback win (April 11), and went on to earn NCAC Player of the Week honors … Topped 34th-ranked Denison’s top singles player in straight sets, 6-1, 6-1 (March 29) … Competed at the No. 2 spot in doubles, going 15-10 on the year … Opened the year with a five-match win streak while winning eight of the first 10 matches … Posted a 3-1 mark in conference play … Defeated 24th-ranked Kenyon’s No. 2 pair 8-5 … ITA Scholar-Athlete … Member of the NCAC Academic Honor Roll.

2015-16: Repeat selection on the all-NCAC second-team … Twice appeared in the central region rankings, distributed by the ITA, reaching as high as No. 19 in the March 31 report … Faced another challenging slate, including several matches against some of the region’s toughest competitors … Won a combined 30 matches on the year, 15 each in singles and doubles … Went 15-15 in doubles and 15-18 in singles … Had a seven-match win streak at the first flight in singles, a first for Wooster since Nilesh Saldanha had an eight-match streak in 2003 … Named NCAC Men’s Tennis Player of the Week on March 21, for an 8-2 week … Had a convincing 6-2, 6-0 win over regionally-ranked foe from Carthage (March 20) … Also had a big 6-3, 6-3 win versus Wabash, helping the Scots to a thrilling 5-4 win over the Little Giants (April 23) … Won seven of first eight doubles matches in March.

2014-15: Ended the year as the 20th-ranked singles player in the ITA Central Region … Earned a spot on the all-NCAC second-team in highly competitive conference … Earned scholar-athlete distinction from the ITA … Finished the season with a 16-10 singles record and a 10-16 doubles clip … Went 10-8 at No. 1 singles in dual play … Faced four nationally-ranked and five regionally-ranked opponents on the year … Advanced to the round of 32 at the ITA Regional tournament before dropping 5-7,4-6 match to Case Western Reserve’s Will Drougas, who would end the year No. 10 in the region.

Prior to Wooster: State doubles champion as a junior at Wootton High School … State finalist in singles as a senior and doubles as a freshman … Helped team to three county championships … Named player of the year by The Gazette as a junior … Earned regional and county honors.
