2013-14: Recorded the second-fastest times in program history in the 100 butterfly (51:30) and 100 backstroke (51.49) during the season … At the NCAC’s, reached two championship heats in individual events, earning fifth-place in the 100 back (51.61) and eighth in the 200 back (1:58.06) … Added 13th-place finish in 100 fly (52.07) … Also as member of relay team, placed eighth in championship heat of 400 freestyle, with an NCAA “B” cut time of 3:15.40 … 2012-13: Was one of the men’s top performers at the NCAC Championships, highlighted by seventh-place in the 100 backstroke (51.78), which was just one hundredth of a second shy of an NCAA “B” cut … Also hit the wall 10th in the 200 back (1:55.03) and competed in the 200 IM as an individual … In relay action, was a member of the fourth-place 400 medley relay team (3:26.29) and seventh-place 800 freestyle relay (7:15.61) … 2011-12: Strong collegiate debut included playing a key role on fourth-place 200 and 400 medley relays at NCAC Championships … Individually, reached three NCAC consolation finals, finishing 13th in the 200 back (1:58.83), 14th in the 100 back (53.31), and 15th in the 100 butterfly (52.90) … Prior to Wooster: Collected all-conference honors all four years at Elyria High School, winning the 100 fly championship in 2010 … Also competed in cross country and tennis three seasons for the Pioneers … Personal: Born June 2, 1993 … Son of Daniel and Tina Maddock … Plans on double majoring in mathematics and physics.
