First-year Morgan Day of The College of Wooster swimming and diving team capped her successful season at the prestigious NCAA Div. III Diving Regional competition, hosted by Denison University's Trumbull Aquatics Center on Saturday afternoon.

Day, one of just 28 female divers to qualify in the region for this weekend's keynote competition, competed on the one-meter board, turning in a score of 324.45 points.

Day earned her qualification for the regional by twice surpassing the 395-point NCAA Div. III standard. She notched her first mark during the Wooster Invitational in December, turning in a score of 397.40 points. Last week, the first-year earned her second cut at the Kenyon College Fast Chance Invitational, accumulating 399.75 points on the one-meter board.
