Wooster's Teams Earn CSCAA Scholar All-America Status for Spring 2017 Semester

The College of Wooster swimming and diving teams earned Scholar All-America recognition, the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) announced on Wednesday. The Fighting Scots were part of a record 720 teams, representing 443 institutions that maintained a grade-point average of 3.0 during the last semester.

Wooster's women's team led the way with a 3.33 collective grade-point average, and their counterparts weren't that far behind as the men turned in an outstanding 3.29 grade-point average.

Through the end of the spring semester, 10 Wooster student-athletes checked in with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average, including recent graduates Theresa Dunne, Jamie Hibbs, Gretchen Kallmeyer, and Avery Wilson.
