The College of Wooster swimming and diving teams swept a double-dual meet against Allegheny College and Ohio Wesleyan University on Saturday afternoon at the Ellen Shapiro Natatorium in Wooster, Ohio. The men topped Allegheny 148-83 and Ohio Wesleyan 119-104, while the women turned in a 147-90 win over the Gators, and ran away from the Battling Bishops 184-42.

Notable, Wooster's men and women finished the year with matching 5-0 records in dual meets against North Coast Athletic Conference foes as the Scots swept Hiram College, Oberlin College, and Wittenberg University earlier in the year. The unbeaten conference record marks the second time in the last three seasons both the men's and women's teams haven't dropped a dual meet against a NCAC opponent. Even more impressive, the women's unbeaten streak against NCAC teams is now at four straight years.

Wooster set the tone early with the women's 400 medley relay consisting of first-years Michelle Sayre and Brooke Brown, senior Maggie Layde, and first-year Lexi Riley-DiPaolo leading the field to the wall with a 4:09.15, :01.31 better than Allegheny's top relay. The men followed suit with sophomore Eli Samuelson, junior Griffin Campbell, sophomore Trey Schopen, and junior Cameron Gelwicks edging out Ohio Wesleyan's top relay 3:38.65 to 3:38.97.

Sticking with Gelwicks, the freestyle specialist emerged as the Scots' lone triple-winner on the afternoon. The junior comfortably won with 200 free with his 1:45.15 ranking better than :03 ahead of the next fastest time, and he later led the way in the 100 free with a 48.09.

Leading the way among the double-winners were women's freestyle specialists Emma Fikse and Sarah Padrutt. Fikse's 1:58.39 in the 200 free earned the junior top billing as did her 54.62 in the 100 free. Padrutt took charge in the distance free events opening with a 11:07.37 in the 1,000 free – the top time by over :10, and her 5:24.54 in the 500 free led the way among the 12 competitors.

Layde rounded out the double-winners on the women's side with a 2:18.74 in the 200 butterfly, and in the men's race, Schopen picked up his second first-place finish of the day with a 2:01.25.

Wooster's men's combination of junior Ryan Campbell, first-year Wyatt Foss, and juniors Max Koch and Garrett Layde capped the meet with the winning time of 3:19.97 in the 400 freestyle relay, and Campbell's 4:59.56 in the 500 free made him a double-winner.

The Scots had one additional win and that came from sophomore Alison Hsu, who turned in a 4:52.29 in the 400 individual medley.

On the day, the Scots combined for 33 top-three swims and two top-three point hauls in the diving well. Notable, the Scots turned in the top three times in the women's 400 IM and the women's 1,000 free.

Next, Wooster closes out the dual meet portion of the season against the University of Mount Union on Saturday, Jan. 27 at 1 p.m. at Timken Natatorium.
