The College of Wooster's men's and women's track and field teams were strong academically yet again during the 2013-14 school year, as both were named All-Academic Teams by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, the organization announced Tuesday.

The Fighting Scots are regular recipients of the USTFCCCA's team academic award, which requires a program to have recorded a 3.10 grade-point average or higher, as the men and women have each been honored in four consecutive seasons.

The men's team, which combined for a 3.12 GPA, joined DePauw University as one of just two North Coast Athletic Conference schools to be recognized.

The women were one of seven NCAC institutions to be named an All-Academic Team, although Wooster's 3.34 GPA ranked near the top of the pack.
