The College of Wooster's men's and women's track and field teams combined for four school records, and six all-North Coast Athletic Conference performers at this year's annual indoor meet, which was held Friday and Saturday at the Jim Hollensteiner Track Facility on the campus of DePauw University.

The Fighting Scot women garnered the majority of the accolades, with their sixth-place finish within the conference, and multi-event standout Hilary Coady was once again an extremely valuable contributor.

In addition to earning second-place points in the pentathlon last weekend, Coady secured two more all-conference certificates, coming in the 60 meter hurdles and the high jump.

First, Coady reset her own school record in the hurdles during Friday's prelims (9.26), and she was even faster during Saturday's finals, as she crossed the finish line in 9.22 to place third in her signature event.

Coady later took third-place in the high jump by clearing the bar at 5 feet, 0.25 inches. Also noteworthy, teammates Kendra Shehy and Elizabeth Obi scored in that same event with matching fifth-place efforts (4 feet, 10.25 inches).

Paris Nahas continued her remarkable season, as she captured all-conference honors (third-place) in the 200 meter dash, by once again lowering her school record time to 26.02.

Nahas also teamed up with Coady, along with Taryn Szalay and Lissette Torres, to break another program record, with 1:47.53 in the 4x200 relay – which was less than a second away from all-conference. Nahas was a member of the 2013 group that held the previous record (1:47.62.)

Another Wooster relay also made some noise, as the distance medley team of Erin Andrews-Sharer, Jocelyn Lion, Mackenzie Kellar, and Lauren Buyan finished in 12:44.89 to deliver yet another all-NCAC performance (third-place).

Rounding out a strong meet for relays was Coady, Buyan, Ashley Huddson, and Torres, who nabbed fifth in the 4x400 in 4:08.52.

Other women to earn points towards Wooster's team score (56.50) were Lion with fifth-place in the pole vault (9 feet, 7.0 inches), Buyan with seventh-place in the mile run (5:20.65), Ellen Sandin with seventh-place in the triple jump (33 feet, 8.5 inches), and Katie Cameron with eighth-place in the long jump (16 feet, 5.25 inches).

On the men's side, it was a pair of sixth-place finishes that stood out. Matt Margida had one of them, as he took sixth in the shot put with a heave of 45 feet, 6.25 inches – less than a foot away from an all-conference certificate.

The other sixth-place performance came from the men's distance medley team of Lincoln Plews, Brady Bunnell, Roy Hadfield, and Derrick Marshall. They clocked in at 11:12.42.

John Lanz delivered a seventh-place showing individually in the 400 meter dash (51.62), and then took eighth-place as part of 4x400 relay team with Tarik Welch, Jairaj Ranchod, and Bunnell (3:34.02).

Also scoring for the men were Shawn Bowman with seventh-place in the long jump (20 feet, 9.75 inches), and the 4x200 relay team consisting of Ben Kingstone, Thomas McGrath, Ryan Kish, and Bowman, who also placed seventh in a time of 1:36.96.

Finally, while Blake Pecoraro didn't score team points in the highly-competitive 3000 meters, he still earned a place in Wooster's record book, as his 8:47.31 broke Brendan Callahan's 14-year old record of 8:48.82.
