Proven distance runner who will add depth to the Wooster distance contingent.

Cross Country: Made seven starts, including one as part of the Wooster 12-runner contingent at the NCAC Championships (Oct. 30), where he placed just outside team top-seven (29:03.5) … Recorded top-five team finish (29:37.3) at the Otterbein Invitational (Sept. 17) … Navigated the 8,000-meter course at All-Ohio Championships (Sept. 30) in 28:49.5 for a top-four team finish.

2016 Outdoor: Did not compete.

2016 Indoor: Did not compete.

2015 Cross Country: One of the top-seven finishers in a quartet of meets, including at the #JennaStrong Classic (Oct. 16) … Crossed at 27:57.9 at the #JennaStrong Classic, a meet that came on the heels of a 27:59.8 8000 meters time at the All-Ohio Championships (Oct. 2) … Crossed at 30:38.3 at the NCAC Championships (Oct. 31).

2015 Outdoor: Competed twice in the 1500 meters and once in the 5000 meters … Top 1500 time (4:27.14) came at the Denison Big Red Invitational (April 24) … Logged a clip of 18:10.65 in the 5000 at the Kenyon Spring Invitational (April 18).

2015 Indoor: Made two starts in the 3000 meters, including a season-best time of 9:50.95 at the Fighting Scots Invitational (Jan. 31).

2014 Cross Country: Lone appearance came at the Wooster Twilight 5K (Nov. 7).

2013 Cross Country: Competed in four meets as a freshman … Logged a 30:14.9 at the #JennaStrong Classic (Oct. 18) and a 30:19.0 at the All-Ohio Championships (Oct. 4).

Prior to Wooster: Earned four letters in outdoor track & field, and three each as a member of the indoor track & field and cross country teams … Helped Hall High School to a pair of cross country and indoor track & field championships.

Personal: Born June 13, 1995 … Son of Alan and Susan Solinsky … Majoring in psychology.
