Competitive student-athlete who is expected to provide depth in the jumps, according to coaching staff.

2016 Outdoor: Upped outdoor long jump best to 14 feet, 1 inch at the Kenyon Spring Invitational (April 23) … Topped out at 13 feet, 10.25 inches in the long jump at the Denison Big Red Invitational (April 29).

2016 Indoor: Competed three times in the long jump and once in the 60 meters … Career-best leap (14 feet, 7.25 inches) came at the Fighting Scots Invitational (Jan. 30).

2015 Outdoor: Helped the 4x100 relay to fourth-place at the NCAC Championships (May 1-2) … Also competed in the prelims of the 100 meters.

2015 Indoor: Competed primarily in the long jump … Season-best distance was 14 feet, 6.5 inches at the Kenyon Classic (Feb. 21).

Prior to Wooster: Two-year captain at the Seisen International School … Competed in track & field, and as a member of the tennis team.

Personal: Born Dec. 15, 1994 … Daughter of Fumitaka and Miwako Torio … Majoring in business economics with a minor in French.
