Carolyn Webster

Sophomore Carolyn Webster was named Women's Field Athlete-of-the-Week after becoming the first student-athlete in women's track and field program history to win the indoor Pentathlon as part of the North Coast Athletic Conference Indoor Multi-Event Championships, per an announcement from the league of Monday morning.

Webster, the co-school-record holder in the indoor high jump, finished second or better in four of the five events, including winning leaps in the high jump (5 feet, 3.75 inches) and long jump (16 feet, 7.75 inches) en route to 3,098 points and All-NCAC accolades.

As part of her career-best point total, the sophomore posted personal records in the 800 meters (2:47.06), 60-meter hurdles (9.71), and shot put (31 feet, 3.75 inches).

Webster will join the rest of her teammates for the NCAC Indoor Championships on March 3-4 at Oberlin College.
