Three student-athletes from The College of Wooster men's and women's track and field teams garnered Athlete-of-the-Week nods for their standout performance at last weekend's Charleston Southern University Spring Break Invitational, which hosted schools across all NCAA divisions on March 17 and 18 at Charleston, S.C.

First-year Austin Hamlett put in an impressive performance in the men's open 400 meters, breaking the 53-second barrier at 52.54 before going 23.13 in the 200 en route to his first-career weekly conference nod in the Men's Sprints/Hurdles category. In the Men's Distance category, sophomore Jackson Feinknopf posted a top-15 time in the 1500, crossing the line at 4:12.79 for his first career nod as well.

On the women's side, sophomore Carolyn Webster garnered Women's Field Athlete-of-the-Week honors for her second-place finish of 5 feet, 3 inches in the high jump. At that height, Webster currently stands tied for third in NCAA Division III competition with the leading height currently set at 5 feet, 5 inches.
