Sophomore Carolyn Webster of The College of Wooster track & field team will compete in the high jump at next week's NCAA Div. III Track & Field Championships, taking place at SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
Webster, who set a career high at 5 feet, 7.75 inches during Thursday's Great Lakes Final Qualifying Meet, competes at 10:30 a.m. on Friday. Webster is seeded fifth in the event.
Overall, this is Webster's second appearance at the national championships. The sophomore standout previously competed at the 2016 NCAA Div. III Indoor Championships where she placed 11th in the high jump, clearing 5 feet, 5 inches.
