2017 Outdoor: Earned first career all-conference certificate with a personal-best 142 feet, 4 inches in the discus at the NCAC Championships (May 6), beating his previous PR by over seven feet to finish in second-place … Scored in the hammer throw at the conference meet with a personal-best 142 feet, 1 inch … Tallied four other runner-up performances, all in the discus, led by a 135 feet, 3 inches throw at the Big Red Invitational (April 28) … Placed 14th in the discus at the All-Ohio Championships (April 15) with a best of 128 feet, 8 inches in addition to a top-20 hammer throw performance, reaching 127 feet, 1 inch … Threw an outdoor shot put personal-best 40 feet in first career outdoor meet at Charleston Southern Invite (March 18) … Threw to a fifth-place finish in the shot put at the Bob Kahn Invitational (April 8), reaching 37 feet, 8.75 inches … Dabbled in the javelin throw at the Wooster Invitational (April 1), nearly scoring with a 12th-place try of 111 feet, 3 inches.
