The College of Wooster's Carolyn Webster earned her 12th career All-North Coast Athletic Conference certificate, as the junior multi-event specialist placed second in the heptathlon on Sunday afternoon at Oberlin, Ohio. Webster's 4,129 points ranked behind Ohio Wesleyan University's Emily Brown's 4,235.

Webster, who lost to Brown by five points at the NCAC pentathlon back in March, was the leader after day one due in large part to leading the eight-competitor field in the high jump (5 feet, 3 inches) and shot put (30 feet, 2 inches). The junior's 15.82 in the 100-meter hurdles was the second-fastest time turned in on Saturday.

On Sunday, Webster turned in second-place marks in the long jump (17 feet, 3.25 inches). She capped the meet with a javelin throw of 84 feet, 2 inches and a time of 2:43.64 in the 800 meters.

First-year Jena Copley also competed and scored for the Scots. Copley scored 3,035 points, and was fourth in the javelin throw (81 feet, 7 inches).

Next, Wooster travels to Meadville, Pa. for the North Coast Athletic Conference Championships. Action begins Friday at noon.
