2017-18 USTFCCCA All-Academic Awards Central

The College of Wooster men's and women's track & field teams extended their streaks of U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic Team certificates to eight straight years, and junior Carolyn Webster was honored as an All-Academic individual for the third consecutive year, it was announced by the organization on Thursday.

Webster, who qualified for both the indoor and outdoor championships this past year in the high jump, heads into her senior year with a 3.58 GPA as a studio art major with a minor in education.

Webster capped her junior year by clearing 5 feet, 3.75 inches in the high jump at the outdoor championships, and in March, the high jumper finished seven spots above her seed at the indoor championships by clearing 5 feet, 5 inches, good for a 10th-place showing – her highest-ever in four trips to the national meet.

Wooster's women's team sports a 3.37 GPA, while the men's team checked in with a 3.18.

To qualify for individual honors, student-athletes must have a minimum 3.30 cumulative GPA, compete in a national championship meet, or finish the regular season in the national top-50 (individual events) or top-35 (relays) on the official NCAA POP list provided by TFRRS.org.

Teams must maintain a 3.10 cumulative GPA.
