A great competitor for the program, per the staff … Capable of challenging the top throwers in the conference, evidenced by earning all-conference honors in the discus in 2017.

2018 Outdoor: Double scorer at the NCAC Championships (May 4-5) with fifth-place heave of 144 feet in the discus and eighth-place toss of 141 feet, 11 inches in the hammer … Upped career-best in the discus to 145 feet, 6 inches at the Denison Big Red Invitational (April 27) … Runner-up in the discus at the Kenyon Spring Invitational (April 21).

2018 Indoor: Logged new personal bests in the shot put and weight throw … Placed third at the NCAC Last Chance Meet (Feb. 23) with heave of 43 feet, 10.5 inches in the shot put … Upped weight throw personal-best to 46 feet, 4.75 inches at the Findlay Meet for Everyone (Feb. 16).

2017 Outdoor: Earned first career all-conference certificate with a season-best 142 feet, 4 inches in the discus at the NCAC Championships (May 6), beating his pervious personal record by over seven feet to finish in second-place … Scored in the hammer throw at the conference meet with a personal-best 142 feet, 1 inch … Tallied four other runner-up performances, all in the discus, led by a 135 feet, 3 inches throw at the Big Red Invitational (April 28) … Placed 14th in the discus at the All-Ohio Championships (April 15) with a best of 128 feet, 8 inches in addition to a top-20 hammer throw performance, reaching 127 feet, 1 inch … Threw an outdoor shot put personal-best 40 feet in first career outdoor meet at Charleston Southern Invite (March 18) … Threw to a fifth-place finish in the shot put at the Bob Kahn Invitational (April 8), reaching 37 feet, 8.75 inches … Dabbled in the javelin throw at the Wooster Invitational (April 1), nearly scoring with a 12th-place try of 111 feet, 3 inches.

2017 Indoor: Competed in six meets … Missed scoring in the weight throw at the NCAC Championships (March 4) by .75 inches, placing ninth with season-best 44 feet, 8 inches … Went 40 feet, 9.5 inches in the shot put at the conference meet, placing 12th overall … Scored in the shot  put at the Greater Cleveland Championships (Feb. 17) with a personal-best 41 feet, 8.75 inches … Finished in the top-eight in each event in all but two meets … Won the weight throw at the Wooster Tri-Meet (Jan. 21), going 38 feet, 8.25 inches while placing third in the shot put at 39 feet, 1.75 inches.

Prior to Wooster: Placed 14th in discus at 2016 Div. II state meet … Regional qualifier in the shot put his senior year … Named Chagrin Valley Conference Track & Field MVP as a junior at Hawken School … Earned first-team all-district and second-team all-conference honors in football as a senior, helping the Hawks earn an 8-2 regular season record en route to a first round playoff appearance in the Div. IV state tournament.
