Sophomore Dylan Garretson continued to reach new heights, and The College of Wooster track & field team's standout pole vaulter collected his third career North Coast Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week award on Monday. Garretson was chosen as this week's men's field events recipient.

Garretson exceeded Tim Sir Louis' 1999 outdoor pole vault record of 15 feet, 4.25 inches just over a week ago at the All-Ohio Championships, and already upped it, this time to 15 feet, 10 inches. Garretson's mark from the Kenyon College Invitational ranks 13th nationally, and it was his 17th time winning the pole vault at a collegiate meet.

Wooster is back in action at Friday's Denison University Invitational.
