Will Callender, Isabelle Hoover, Will McMichael, Carolyn Webster Wooster track & field The College of Wooster's Will Callender, Isabelle Hoover, Will McMichael, and Carolyn Webster qualified for the North Coast Athletic Conference 40th Anniversary All-Decade Team for indoor track and field, as announced by the conference office on Monday.

Callender, the Distance Athlete of the Year in 2023, won the 3,000 meters (8:40.60) and was the third-place finisher in the 5,000 meters (15:08.39) at the NCAC Championships. The two all-conference efforts helped the program to a third-place finish and were two of nine all-conference showings by the Fighting Scots.

Hoover, the 2022 Distance Athlete of the Year, swept the 3,000 and 5,000 meters with times of 10:32.11 and 17:47.61, respectively. The double-winner helped the program to a runner-up showing for the first time since 1997. As a first-year Hoover's 18:44.12 in the 5,000 meters garnered a third-place finish, while she was also third in the 5,000 meters in 2020, crossing at 18:49.89. Hoover's indoor conference success helped the alumna earn Division III Commissioner's Association (D3CA) Region VII Women's Student-Athlete of the Year honors and a $10,000 NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship.

McMichael earned Sprints and Hurdles Athlete of the Year accolades following the 2020 NCAC Championships. At the conference meet, McMichael's 49.75 broke Eric Rogers' school record of 50.01 from 1992. He became the conference's first repeat winner in the indoor 400 meters since the 2008 and 2009 seasons. A four-time All-NCAC indoor performer, McMichael debuted with the winning time of 50.91 at the 2019 NCAC Championships and was part of the program's second-place 4x200 relay (1:32.35). Wooster's team placed third, marking the program's first top-three showing since 2001. His fourth all-conference indoor finish came in the 4x200 relay (1:32.15) in 2020.

Webster, one of the most decorated athletes in program history at the conference level, earned Field Athlete of the Year honors following the 2019 conference championships. The then-senior was the conference champion in the pentathlon (3,229 points) and long jump (17 feet, 6.75 inches) and took third in the high jump (5 feet, 0.5 inch). Overall, Webster was a four-time indoor conference champion and a 10-time All-NCAC performer. Webster debuted with the winning high jump mark of 5 feet, 5 inches in 2016 and backed that up with the runner-up long jump of 17 feet, 11.5 inches. As a sophomore, Webster earned the first of two pentathlon titles, scoring 3,098 points. She was third in the high jump, topping out at 5 feet, 5 inches. As a junior, Webster was all-conference in the pentathlon (3,130 points, second), long jump (17 feet, 8.25 inches, second) and high jump (5 feet, 2.25 inches, third). Webster's 2017 pentathlon title marked the first time Wooster won the event at the conference meet, and she finished as the championship's high scorer. Webster was a two-time NCAA Div. III Championships qualifier for the indoor high jump and placed as high as 10th nationally. Of note, Webster's 10 indoor All-NCAC certificates are the third-most in program history and one shy of the school record.

A NCAC major award (sprints/hurdles, middle-distance/distance, field) or at least three first-place conference finishes between the 2013-14 and 2022-23 seasons were the eligibility criteria for the NCAC 40th Anniversary All-Decade Team.
