First-year Ella Biondi (Mentor, Ohio) was recognized by the North Coast Athletic Conference office with All-NCAC Third Team honors on Wednesday.
Biondi was one of Wooster's most consistent players this season, appearing in 24 games and starting in 22 of them.
She finished second on the team and 12th in the conference at 11.6 points per game and was first on the team and third in the NCAC at 8.8 rebounds per game.
Biondi was also a factor on the defensive end, leading the conference with 65 blocks, averaging 2.7 per game.
Biondi played some of her best basketball down the stretch. She averaged a double-double in her last three games, averaging 20 points and 12.7 rebounds.
Biondi reached double figures in scoring 14 times this season, including reaching a season-high of 22 points twice. She finished with seven double doubles all together.
In the team's last game, she recorded a career-high 16 rebounds. She also tied the school's single game record for blocks in a game with eight against Hiram College on Feb. 11.
