In its biggest match to date, The College of Wooster women's golf team took 12th-place at the two-day Allegheny Invitational, held at the par-73, 5,802-yard Meadville Country Club in Meadville, Pa.

Wooster was paced by its No. 1 golfer for the second-consecutive week, as first-year Rainey Sullivan shot rounds of 98 and 94 (192) and finished 36th overall. Sullivan's 94 on Sunday was the lowest 18-hole score by a Scot this season, and was better than the second day rounds of three golfer's that finished ahead of her in the standings.

Janet Zahorsky turned in Wooster's next lowest score with rounds of 107 and 99 (206), which tied her for 44th-place, while Jane Siegel shot two identical rounds of 107, for a total score of 214 and 51st-place. Rounding out Wooster's lineup were DaSol Kuen (111-112) and Joanie Jenkins (117-119).

The Scots will wrap-up the fall portion of their 2010-11 schedule this Saturday at the Mount Union Invitational at Alliance, Ohio.
