The College of Wooster women's golf team was unable to make up any ground during the second portion of the North Coast Athletic Conference Championships, as the Fighting Scots maintained their sixth-place standing after competing in the final 36 holes on Saturday and Sunday at the Oberlin Golf Club.

Wooster shot a 387 in its opening 18, and a 399 in second-day action, resulting in a 786. When combined with last weekend's 36 holes, the Scots totaled a 1,548 in the championship event, which were 67 strokes behind fifth-place Ohio Wesleyan University (1,481). DePauw University took the team championship with a 1,282, followed by Allegheny College (1,293), Wittenberg University (1,354), and Denison University (1,463).

Rainey Sullivan led Wooster and improved on her matching 91's from last weekend, this time shooting rounds of 89 and 90 (179). Overall, Sullivan shot a 361 over 72 holes, which was good for 20th-place in the conference.

Not too far behind Sullivan were Janet Zahorsky (100-96) and Hanna Gabriel (96-100), who shot identical 196's this weekend. Rounding out Wooster's scorers were Nichole Gustafson and Alyssa Gilbert, with two-day scores of 215 and 226, respectively.
