Following last week's action in Savannah, Ga., The College of Wooster's women's golf team continued its spring break slate Monday just a 30-minute drive northeast, as the Fighting Scots competed in the Old South Collegiate, hosted by University of South Carolina Beaufort, at the Old South Golf Links in Bluffton S.C.

Playing on the par-72, 5,911-yard course, the Scots placed third in a field of five teams with a score of 354, which bested two NAIA programs – South Caronia Beaufort's "B" squad (367) and Columbia College (376). Wooster was just a few strokes behind fellow North Coast Athletic Conference rival Denison University (348), while the host school's "A" team was well ahead of the pack with a 311.

Nearly all the Scots recorded lower scores than they did at last week's event, including standout Sharmeen Chinoy, who carded an 85 to tie for seventh-place overall.

Right behind her were teammates Hannah Buzolits (88) and Victoria Roney (89), who placed 11th and 12th, respectively, while Emily Howerton (92) and Alyssa Gilbert (97) rounded out those who contributed towards Wooster's team score.
